Sharry, That is the most wonderful story! When I started reading it my heart jumped and I thought: couldn't it be moved? It's wonderful that you found the pros to do it, that it can be visited by Sam, and that your vegies will grow in full sunshine next summer. I am really heartened that the tree was saved, dear thing that it is. It's lovely and straight and will grow to be a great friend to the birds on Faith Street!

On this blog I use examples from my SoulCollage deck. SoulCollage cards are made for personal use only and are not for sale, trade, or barter. A special “thank you” to all the wonderful photographers and artists whose images have inspired us to recreate and discover our inner and outer worlds. This beautiful process was developed by Jungian therapist, Seena B. Frost. Learn more at the SoulCollage website.
I also want to give great thanks to my husband, Sam. He is my "in house" editor. Living with him can be a bit like entering a Far Side cartoon, but he keeps me from taking myself too seriously.

I'm glad you moved the tree, at least. Black oaks are gorgeous trees...
